We recommend the following storage conditions :
To prevent damage to terminal soldering performance, the following storage and handling
conditions are recommended :
- Store the product at an ambient temperature of 5 ~ 40°C and a relative humidity of
20% ~ 70%; MSL 1 grade.
- It is recommended that the product be used within one year of shipment.
To extend the shelf life by 12 ~ 24 months, soldering performance, capacitance value
and D.F. value characteristics must be checked before use.
Precautions :
- Do not store capacitors in environments containing sulfuric acid, hydrogen sulfide,
sulfur dioxide, chlorine, ammonia, etc.
- Corrosive gases react with the capacitor’s terminals, reducing its solderability, and
may cause silver migration, thereby reducing reliability.
- Only open the packaging when the capacitor is needed.
If the packaging has been opened, reseal it as soon as possible.
Products packaged with tape should be kept away from direct sunlight to prevent the
tape or adhesive from aging.
- Do not store capacitors in direct sunlight or in environments with condensation.
Rapid changes in humidity causing condensation, or direct sunlight causing
photochemical changes in the terminal electrodes, can reduce the solderability and
electrical performance of the capacitor.
- Please store the product on a shelf to prevent it from getting damp.
